SHARING SPACE

I believe we learn and grow by connecting to others, and gaining a sense that "I am not alone" in whatever challenges we might be facing in our life.  I wanted to have a space where i could share quotes, articles, books and resources that have inspired me along the way...and if you feel like sharing something with me please do :)

Quotes I dig:

"The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty you can comfortably deal with."       -- Tony Robbins

"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learned. The spiritual journey is the relinquishment, or unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts." -- Marianne Williamson

"...as a matter of conscious experience, the reality of your life is always now and I think this is a liberating truth about the nature of the human mind, in fact I think there is probably nothing more important to understand about your mind then that if you want to be happy in this world. The past is a memory, its a thought arising in the present. The future is merely anticipated, it is another thought arising now. So what we truly have is this moment...and this...and this... and we spend most of our lives forgetting this truth. Repudiating it, fleeing it, overlooking it, and the horror is that we succeed. We manage to never really connect with the present moment and find fulfilment there because we are continually hoping to become happy in the future...and the future never arrives. Now even when we think we are in the present moment we are in very subtle ways always looking over its shoulder anticipating what is coming next, we are always solving a problem. It is possible to simply drop your problem, if only for a moment and enjoy whatever is true of your life in the present. This is not a matter of new information or more information. It requires a change in attitude. It requires a change in the attentiveness you pay to your experience in the present moment." --Sam Harris

"All you ever longed for is before you in this moment. If you dare draw in a breath and whisper YES."                     -- Danna Faulds

"May my heart be kind, my mind fierce, and my spirit brave." -- Kate Forsyth

"Never could I breathe love if i did not first learn to inhale a little bit of chaos." -- Christopher Poindexter
