Meet Waffle.

She is my families one year old pup and soon-to-be therapy dog in my practice. Waffle is a non-shedding Goldendoodle with a calm temperament, and playful heart. She loves meeting new people, and settling in for a good cuddle. Waffle and I have worked privately with a trainer over the last year to help her be socialized and ready for this kind of work, but she is still in her adolescent era so it may be a few months before she is regularly in the office space.

Waffle will be starting to attend my office in 2026 with those who wish to have her alongside during therapy. For many people having a dog in the therapy space can be soothing, and calming for ones nervous system, and for others it is not something they desire.

Your consent as a client is of utmost importance, and so I will always make sure you are truly comfortable with Waffle being in the space before doing so, and if it is not okay with you - she will not be there!

Waffle will also be volunteering with me in the community to help bring connection, cuddles and calm to people and places in the community who might value that support alongside.

Waffle looks forward to meeting you sometime in 2026!
